After buying about 5 different car seats for my 2 1/2 and wishing that out of those 5 I could put one together for myself, I read reviews on this one and bought it. I have to say that finally a good chair was invented with MINOR problems. It is wonderful, my son loves it, this is a bigger seat than most so my son gets to sit up higher and sees everything out of his window. This is a front facing, a rear facing and a booster chair, so I will never have to buy another car seat again. I found it easy to strap in, very easy to recline, but a bit harder to put back in UP position, and finally when reclined my son’s head stays back instead of bopping forward all the time. Another awesome feature is the belts have cushions on them so my son no longer complains of rubbing of the belt on his neck. The fold down arm rests are very cool and the easily adjustable shoulder belt latch is AWESOME and so easy to use. I got the black colored one that matches the interior of my car perfectly I could not be happier with my buy. But nothing is perfect, there are a couple of things that could be worked on, the cup holder, which is in an awkward place and the head pillow is flimsy and doesn’t stay put, but what I went to the craft store and bought long stick on velcro strips and placed them alongside the pillow sides and the carseat, now I can adjust the pillow with my son’s head is and it stays put. Just an easy idea for anyone that may have the same problem. As for the seat belts twisting (which I heard to be a common problem) I have not had the problem. But have only had the seat for a month. Maybe spraying some starch on them would help.

I purchased the Combi Ultra Savvy stroller and was happy with the purchase, so I decided to try their Tyro 8000 carseat. I am very pleased with my purchase.

So far I have been toting my daughter around in it every day for the last 8 months and it looks just like it did the day I took it out of the box. There is not one ounce of noticable wear on the seat itself or the fabric. I have had to take apart the carseat to wash the fabric due to some accidents, but in all the washings and reassemblings, it looks as good as new. It is easy to take apart and to put back together.

After three years of hassling with “accurate” installation of various makes and models of car seats for a growing baby/toddler, it was a relief to finally hit booster seats at 40 pounds. Of course, there are still way too many choices with these also — backs, no backs, accessories such as cup holders, etc. We decided to go compact for ease in moving into and out of the car. That way when we want to go somewhere “sans kid”, it’s easy to leave behind (or in the trunk if you have a car). It’s also easy to move between cars if you only want to buy one seat but have two vehicles.

After nearly eleven months use of the Graco Infant Car Seat I am glad to be saying good-bye. The Graco SnugRide carseat comes in many different sets (stroller and seat) and colors. We had purchased the seat over the internet, months before our son was born.

I searched for what I thought would be the safest car seats for my twins. I chose this car seat because of the 5 point harness system (and it’s affordability). It takes a little more time to get the baby in and out than with an over-head bar type of seat that you can just pull down, click and be done with, but I believe the security of the 5 point harness is worth it. For the most part, the straps are easy to loosen and tighten, although they do tend to twist easily. I feel my girls are safe and secure in this seat, as the straps hold them firmly in place - no sliding from side to side or down into a slump. At the same time, the girls seem very comfortable and enjoy their ride.
