Ford Made The Evenflo Right Fit The Right Price For My Pocketbook Evenflo Right Fit Booster Car Seat

“Don’t tell me I never bring you home anything”, my hubby said as he flung these papers at me. Expecting the papers to have something to do with cars, I was shocked when I looked at them. Yes they did have something to do with cars, but they actually had more to do with my son. Working across from the Ford Dealership, my husband wandered across the street and returned with a coupon for a free booster seat - the Right Fit Booster Seat to be exact. Score one for the hubby; take away a half point for the sarcasm.

Infinitely adjustable harness height (especially nice when kids are wearing a coat)

Side impact protection

Large head rest for more support when sleeping

5 point harness system

Versa- tether

Built in lock- offs

Reinforced headrest with EPS foam (same as in bike helmets)

Returning it due to angle Cosco Alpha Omega Elite 5Point 22155 Checkers Booster Car Seat

After installation, I am returning it. With a 6″ leveler from BRU, and the seat fully reclined I still could not meet the 45 degree angle requirement (came up ~ 10-15 degrees short of level). Part of the fault is my SUV’s back seat angle, but having the front raised about 8-9″ off of the back of the seat not being enough is a bit ridiculous.

Another problem is that the seat is quite long. To get the seat to install without hitting the car’s front seat, I had to slide the front seat almost all the way forward and un-recline it. This would only be comfortable for a smaller person in my car.

Absolutely pleased Evenflo Titan Deluxe Bronze Glory Convertible Car Seat

We love this car seat. We bought it based on its high safety ratings, but couldn’t be happier with how it has performed. My son is fifteen months old now and we bought it just before he turned one. We just got back from a trip to the beach (which happened to be a 13-hour drive thanks to construction this year) and he did absolutely fine. Of course, I was worried with such a long trip with a young one, but he didn’t fuss at all. The seat seems to be very comfortable, although he isn’t quite able to tell me that yet. I am happy that he is finally front-facing, though. I have an Elantra and we didn’t have any problems with him rear-facing in my car, but my husband has an F-150 with an extended cab, and we simply could not put it in rear-facing in there. There just wasn’t enough room. We also rented a Dodge caravan for one trip and with his seat rear-facing, I had barely any leg room. My husband is over 6 feet, so he had to go behind me. Also, with the seat rear-facing, I did have some difficulty adjusting the straps while he was in the seat. With it forward facing, I have noticed you need to pull slightly down, so that may have been the problem. But, overall, we are very pleased with our purchase-in fact my mother-in-law went and bought the same one for her car!

Great Seat! Graco SafeSeat (Step 1) 8A06QIN Quinn Infant Car Seat

I received this carseat as a gift before my son was born (in a different pattern though-the pattern that I got was called Heirloom) and the seat is amazing. My son is now 9 and a half months and he still fits into the seat. It has three setting so babies really can fit in it longer! My son is now 27 and a half inches and weighs over 19 pounds and I don’t expect to have to move into a bigger carseat until he is 1 year old.

Britax Roundabout: Once the Best, Now Look at the Rest Britax Roundabout Puma Convertible Car Seat

After the fiasco we had with my daughter’s Smartmove Car Seat, we were determined to never use anything but seats again. When my son Buster was born three years ago, my mother and sister were generous enough to spring for the Roundabout for him, which then got passed down to my youngest, Buster as all my children bumped up a seat in our hierarchy. Now, as I’m expecting baby #4, I actually have no plans to pass down our Roundabout, but will instead be replacing it and giving it to my parents as a substitute for their outdated seats. Here is why:
