We purchased 2 of these car seats for my 3 1/2 year old daughter who is 38″ tall and weighs 34 pounds. The seats are for her grandparent’s cars. Our daughter has been very happy riding around in her 2 Britax Roundabouts we have in each of our cars. I have been very hesitant to put her in a booster at all, much preferring the 5 point safety of her Britax. However, she was nearing the 40″ height limit on her Britax, and the top of her head was over the back of her car seat. I researched purchasing a larger seat to keep her in 5 point. Few choices were available, they were very expensive (Britax Husky $240.00) and her pediatrician said she was tall enough and weighed enough to graduate into a booster.

My best friend has a 2yr old daughter. We often take my car places so this is the car seat that gets put in my car when we want to take the child with us.

Britax Roundabout Car Seat is an outstanding car seat and worth every penny. I have two year old twins and researched just about every car seat that existed. We decided on the Britax because of the quality as well as the safety rating. We travel frequently on long car trips and both of my children are comfortable and content in the seats. The fabric is soft and durable. One of our concerns was having a car seat that would support their little heads when they fall asleep in the car. The contour of the head area of this seat helps to keep the babies head aligned so he or she is not sleeping with his or her head retched to one side or the other. Additionally, the seat has a great feature that allows the seat straps to be adjusted without removing the seat, to accommodate a winter coat or sweater. The buckles are strong and durable and cannot be opened with little curious fingers. Installing the car seat is terrific, if your vehicle offers the tether clips, then it just a matter of clipping the seat in place, if you need to use the lap/shoulder belt, the area is easily accessible even for large hands like my husbands. I have removed the seats to wash the seat covers, and found the instructions on removing all of the pieces were easy to understand and were just as simple to reassemble. The only thing that is missing from the seat is a cup/bottle holder and perhaps a little storage pouch for books or small toys.
