Britax Super Elite is SUPER! Britax Super Elite Youth Seat Convertible Car Seat

This seat is really big! That’s good for older kids that use it. My daughter is just 17 months old and weighs in at almost 35 lbs! I bought this for her because she was outgrowing her Roundabout by her height.

This seat almost swallows her up its so big! There needs to be some type of removable cushion that you can place on the side of their head. When she falls asleep her head kinks to the side.

This seat however is not approved for use on an airplane. its to wide for the seats. Personally its to large and heavy to carry around through an airport anyway.

The car seat that grows WITH your child!!! Cosco Alpha Omega Elite Hammer Print Convertible Car Seat

After our son got too big for the carrying car seat, it was time for us to begin the hunt for the next stage in seats. But where do we begin… there are so many types at a wide range of prices. After checking out seats at 5 different stores, we came across the “Alpha Omega Elite Car Seat with LATCH: Hammer Print.”

The first thing that caught our eye was the fact that this was one of the few car seats that would grow WITH our child. Below are some of the key elements that went into our decision to purchase this seat.

Cosco Alpha Omega: Recommended by SLC Children’s Hospital. Cosco Alpha Omega Elite 5Point 22155 Transpire Booster Car Seat

UPDATE: (July 13, 2005) Can you believe it??? We are still using the Alpha Omega car seats we purchased five years ago! Since the twins, we had another little daughter who is now using one of the seats, and another baby daughter transitioning into one in the next year. My husband and I have traveled extensively, via air and car, and took both seats with us on all trips. (It is wise, however, to replace carseats any older than four to five years — for safety concerns over such long use.) My only problem with the seats are the shoulder straps, which twist easily within the chest harness and buckle. That aside, we will surely be looking at purchasing another brand carseat once more!

I purchased my Alpha Omega car seat at Walmart in Canada in August 2001 when our first daughter outgrew her infant seat.

So Much Better Than A Cosco! Evenflo Triumph Deluxe Fairview Suede Convertible Car Seat

We purchased two of these car seats (one for each of our cars), when we suddenly realized our infant son was quickly outgrowing his infant carrier and our older son was not quite ready to graduate to a booster seat. We wanted something that was safe, comfortable, and easy to use. In general, the Triumph Deluxe fits the bill.

This seat grows with your child Cosco Alpha Omega Elite Hammer Print Convertible Car Seat

This car seat is great, the weight range is 5 to 100 lbs. First is can be used as a rear facing infant seat. Then you can turn it around and use the 5 point harness. Then when your child gets too big for that you can use this car seat with the lap belt and have it used as a child booster seat. It is super easy to adjust the straps. Very comfortable ride. Easy to clean. I prefer to use an infant carrier the first several months because of convenience. But after that its great.

This car seat does very well in crash tests so i am confident my child is safe.

The cup holder is not in a good spot and the size of it could be a little bigger to fit more cup sizes. Also, it sticks out so you cant have it on the side with the door which is not a big deal you can put it on the other side but then if you have another child in the car sitting on that side then its in the way. We pretty much had to just take it off and quit trying to use it.

Overall, I would recommend this seat. If I had to do it over, I would get it for my daughter again.
