Another jewel in the crown of the Evenflo booster dynasty. The Chase DLX is another safe seat that combines comfort and safety. It has all of the relevant features required of a car seat. It includes an internal harness, seat belt positioner and Comfort Touch padded armrests.A key feature is the easy front harness adjustment. Parents can pull on the adjuster up front and the harness tightens to fit the child’s needs. It also features Comfort Touch padding all over the seat. A cup holder gives the child a chance to be indpendent and take care of personal space.Not especailly flashy the Evenflo Chase DLX Booster Car Seat gets the job done. It is not the shiniest jewel in Evenflo’s booster crown, but it has as much value as any of the others.

I want to say almost 2 years ago we purchased our Cosco Summit Booster Car Seat at Babies R’Us. Talia was growing and was now barely fitting in her Evenflo Triumph and it was now time to spend another $100.00 bucks or so on a bigger seat.

Our original reason for purchasing the SafeSeat infant carseat was because with our last baby we had an Evenflo carseat that only went up to 22 lbs and 26 inches. While my daughter was tiny and would still fit in it now, at 2 years old, according to the weight limit, she neared the 26 inch height limit around 8 months so we had to buy a convertible carseat for her.

As a mother of 2 boys, a daycare provider, a future pediatrician, a car accident victim and a mom still building her family, I have to be able to TRUST whatever my kids, my future kids, and my daycare kids sit in!

No name brand loyalty here! I am not one of those people that keep up with the Jones, and have to have the best, despite the big price tag! My feet do not adorn Prada, my finger does not tote Tiffany, and my wallet is not held by Coach!

This standard booster car seat isn%26rsquo;t as luxurious as other brands; for instance, it doesn%26rsquo;t have a molded headrest, just a simple (but appreciated) head pillow and padded arm rests. It%26rsquo;s not stuffed with the ever-popular EPS foam, either, but a body pillow that can be removed and washed when necessary. Safety features include stabilization tethers that prevent sliding, and padded harnesses at the torso which also fit over the shoulders. Last September our eldest son was kicked out of the built-in child seats in our Chrysler Town %26 Country in favor of the newly-born baby. The baby had to be seated in a baby carrier/car seat, and it was difficult at best to get into the back seat. Knowing that we would eventually need to own three booster seats or kid seats, we started our search.

What is the Evenflo Big Kid Booster Seat?

Over the past three years I have purchased a grand total of five car seats. FIVE! I almost can’t believe it, myself. But with two working parents and two crazy kids, we really needed to have two car seats in each car. I’ve bought one on the super expensive side (The Evenflo Medallion V XL), one on the super inexpensive side(the Century 1500 STE Convertible), and all the rest fall someplace in between.

My daughter was about 4 months old when I developed a crick in my neck and a torn rotator cuff from constant turning around at red lights to put the pacifier in her mouth so she would stop crying. (Ok, so I exaggerated, it only FELT like a crick in the neck and a torn rotator cuff.) The pacifier didn’t work. After a few weeks of the incessant crying, I just thought “let her cry herself to sleep”. Well, that didn’t work either and I needed to carry a bottle of Advil Liqui-Gels in the car just to get to the store!!! (That part IS NOT an exaggeration). And then it hit me… DING DING DING… maybe she’s just not comfortable in that Evenflo Embrace Travel System Infant Carrier?!?!?!
