Decent car seat carrier Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Black Sable Infant Car Seat

We received this car seat / carrier as a baby shower gift to go along with our Peg Perego stroller. We registered for it because it seemed to be the highest recommended product on the market at the time (nearly 2 years ago).

The carrier itself is easy to clip in and out of the car seat base, although you do have to be certain it is lined up correctly. Even for someone without a lot of upper body strength, I found I was able to easily manage it.

Definitely NOT “Primo” Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP Toffee Infant Car Seat

We borrowed this seat from a friend because we bought the Pliko P3 stroller (which I love). While it is a little difficult to snap it correctly into the stroller, it snaps smoothly and easily into the car base, and removes easily as well, which is great. However, that is one of its only pros.

We should have bought it before Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Metropolis Infant Car Seat

We love this car seat. It may be specific per child, but our baby son did not like the older car seat (we got from friends) - securing him in it was a challenge, and he usually complained very clearly after a short while.

He is now 10 weeks old. We recently got the Peg Perego car seat (along with the supper light Aria stroller - see a separate review) and the difference was very clear - we rarely have problems getting him to the car seat. He smiles to us as be buckle him in, and it saves us a lot of time in getting into the car and drive.

very good would recommend Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP Toffee Infant Car Seat

We received this infant seat for our first child who was born last May.

We have found it to be worth the high price tag since our daughter is very comfortable and happy riding in it, and more importantly, we feel she is safe.

It does take up a lot of space in our 2006 Saab wagon and it is much heavier than some of the other car seats I’ve lifted. I’ll take the added weight over something that isn’t as well padded any day. My brother has a smaller, lighter car seat for their daughter who is the same age and she was constantly tipping to the side in her seat since she didn’t have all the built in head support that this one offers.

buy a graco snug ride instead!! Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Blumoon Infant Car Seat

I love, love , love my Peg Perego Pliko P3 stroller, would buy it again…however I would not have bought the pricey car seat that goes with it again…

Although it is nice that the car seat snaps into stroller, which makes it nice for escalators in the mall…it also snaps in to some grocery carts, which makes me a lot more comfortable…I also like the harness system that is adjustable with just one finger…I also like the haed support, which works well with a newborn, BTW the head holders do not work with this car seat, but the “wings” which are the covers that go on the sholderstraps that help hold there head up work well, (you can get them at babies r us)…those are about the only advantage..My daughter HATES this car seat…I think it sits too high up…and she sweats in it if it gets over 70 degrees…Also it is really heavy! If I would do it over again I would buy the snug ride (for half the price)it also fits in the stroller (just doesnt “click” in place) but really you are only going to use it for 6-9 months and $219 is a lot of money…it is also a lot lighter…a lot of people use the argument that a baby will fit into it longer…trust me when they get that big you are not going to be able to carry it anyways and you are going to switch to a forward convertable anyways
