2plustwins Accel SE 5Point 45100 Convertible Car Seat

I searched for what I thought would be the safest car seats for my twins. I chose this car seat because of the 5 point harness system (and it’s affordability). It takes a little more time to get the baby in and out than with an over-head bar type of seat that you can just pull down, click and be done with, but I believe the security of the 5 point harness is worth it. For the most part, the straps are easy to loosen and tighten, although they do tend to twist easily. I feel my girls are safe and secure in this seat, as the straps hold them firmly in place - no sliding from side to side or down into a slump. At the same time, the girls seem very comfortable and enjoy their ride.

Worth the extra pennies Britax Roundabout Puma Convertible Car Seat

Well, my son was about to turn two and we have number two due in August. We were going to need one extra car seat no matter what we did. On top of that, the Alpha Omega car seat was not inspiring me with confidence (the straps kept bunching up and I could not get it tight enough.) We didn’t know what we were going to do.

I began searching. I knew that I liked the car seats for a long time, but I didn’t want to spend almost $200 for a car seat. I started looking on ebay for new car seats below that price. I could not find any of the car seats for a decent price.

Britax Regent is more comfortable than my LaZBoy Britax Regent Onyx Booster Car Seat

I chose a 5 point harness car seat for my daughter and then chose another 5 point harness car seat (the Regent) for her once she had outgrown the other one. Why? I wanted her to be safe and did not feel that she would be safe in a regular booster. My child has special needs and would never have stayed buckled up in a regular booster nor seated safely. There are few drawbacks to owning this car seat and I would buy another one in a heartbeat. Many things can be scrimped on for a child–generic Walmart brand clothing, Dollar store toys–but when it comes to being safe in a car, the expense of a quality trusted car seat is a necessity. Years ago, many people did not drive much outside of their local small town but these days, we travel a good bit. To see family, go on business trips, vacations, visit friends, go to doctor appointments…we are always on the go! Knowing my child is safely buckled up in the back seat gives me peace of mind and that is worth way more than what the 5 point harness car seat cost. The Regent was previously called the Husky. When I started looking for a Husky car seat, I could not find one anywhere. Then I heard that the Regent is the same except for the change in name.

Does Anyone Know How to Clean This Thing? Britax Roundabout Puma Convertible Car Seat

The Roundabout car seat was the very first product review I ever wrote for Epinions. In fact, it was the first thing I wrote for Epinions, period. I”m re-writing this product review because several additional months of use has really given me a lot more to say about the product. I still recommend it for it”s safety features… but if I could get my hands on the guy who designed the cloth cover, I”d ring his dirty, little neck.

Safest Car Seat for Kids Over 40 lbs Britax Regent Blue Bouquet Youth Car Seat

We bought this car seat for my son when he was 3, because his old one was too small for him. I was looking for a booster seat at first, but picked this one at last because of safety. Car seat is by far the safest for kids. The car seat comes with five-point harness and push-button LATCH connectors. The user¡¯s guide says it¡¯s for kids weighs 22 lbs to 80 lbs, but I think it will be too big for 22-lb kids. My son is almost 50 lbs now and the car seat is still very roomy for him.

Safest car seat on the market Cosco Touriva 5Point 22110 Convertible Car Seat

When I was pregnant with my first child, my husband and I went to a baby safety seminar. We were determined to know as much about keeping our little one safe as possible. Talk about information overload. Parents have so many choices that it is a very daunting task trying to choose just the right product for your child.

When it comes to car seats, the government sets the standard. Not only are you not allowed to leave the hospital with your newborn without one (a nurse will actually go to your car with you upon discharge to make sure that the appropriate car seat is in your vehicle), but the government has created regulations that mandate harnesses, incline, and overall design safety just to mention a few things.

Not everything we hoped it would be. Britax Wizard Midnight Print Infant Car Seat

We decided to purchase a Wizard in addition to our Marathon. We thought we’d like the added benefit of the side impact head protection the Wizard provided. We wanted the best car seat we could get.

The Wizard is essentially a Marathon all tricked out. It’s the same size, body style, etc. It adds a side impact head restraint system (see more about this below), a dial to adjust the harnesses, and air holes in the back to keep the baby cool and less sweaty.

Safest I could Find! Britax Marathon Onyx Booster Car Seat

We figured that of any item we bought for our children, this was the one where money would be no object when paying for safety. We researched many car seats before deciding upon the Marathon. Consumer Reports ranked this the the year we purchased it. It has the all important 5 point harness plus what we really liked was the side impact rails for protection in side crashes.

Britax Boulevard the best and safest car seat Britax Boulevard Onyx Convertible Car Seat

I have a boulevard, and absolutely love it. We have used a Wizard, a Sit n Stroll, and now the Boulevard. We have used the Boulevard for about 6 or 7 months now.

Boulevard is about the same size as their Marathon, with added head rest wings to protect the head. The headrest adds a bit of height to the seat, and is adjustable up and down according to the child’s height.

It is very easy to install to newer cars with two side latches, and back tether. A bit more work if it is older vehicles, and less stable as well.

Great Booster for a Larger Child Graco TurboBooster Deluxe Graco TurboBooster® SafeSeat¿ 8674BUZ Toy Story® Youth Car Seat

I have moved this review from the category for model 8496 to this category now that it is available. The move involved a small change to some of the text in the overview

Overview

This is a very nice booster seat that fits children between 30 and 100 pounds and between 38 and 57 inches tall. It has arm rests, soft padding, and large comfortable side wings for sleeping, and a retractable cup holder on each side, which the kids find exciting even though they are quite shallow. The seat comes disassembled, but is easy to assemble with only a phillips head screwdriver.
