When I had my first baby, I shopped and shopped for the best car seat I could find. I ended up buying this Graco Snug Ride Infant Car Seat for many reasons. First and most importantly, it is extremely easy to use. My husband was out of town for work when I purchased most of our baby items %26 furniture. This car seat was the easiest of them all for me to assemble by myself. I like that the base stays in the car (and you can buy extra bases for other cars too!) and the car seat just snaps in and out very easily. It comes with it’s own strap that attaches to the factory hooks in your car so you don’t have to use your car’s seat belt. It is very sturdy. It clips into the stroller too, so if you go shopping or wherever and your baby falls asleep on the way you don’t have to take them out of their car seat and wake them up. You just put the whole car-seat in the stroller. It is lighter than some other car seats (Eddie Bauer, Cosco) I like, too that the colors are uni-gender so I can use it for my next baby whether they are a boy or a girl. I highly recommend this car seat for any mom or mom to be.

In spring 2004, I was pregnant with my first child. I was excited, I was overwhelmed, I was flabbergasted by the slew of mommy-targeted products I supposedly needed for my child. But there was one product I knew I had to have: a car seat. I remember my ob/gyn handed me a list way back in my first trimester of important points to keep in mind. One of them was that the hospital where I planned to deliver would not allow my baby to leave without an infant car seat. Why I Bought This Car Seat

My 10 month old twin daughters are only 17 lbs, but they were less then an inch away from the height limit on their Graco Snugride infant car seats.
